The book marking the 150th birthday of packaging machinery in Southwest Germany
For more than century and a half, an industry has been growing in Württemberg whose products are ultimately unavoidable in this age of consumption: the packaging machine industry. Now, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the industry's first company, a 300-page book has been produced tracing the history of this field's success and profiling more than 80 companies.

Packaging Valley flying its flag in Düsseldorf
Joint stand at Interpack (May 12 -18, 2011)
Schwaebisch Hall/Dusseldorf: The most important global trade show for packaging machinery is held in Dusseldorf every three years. Future orientation and customer acquisition are particularly important in times of good demand. The companies from the region of Baden-Wuerttemberg, all of them players on the frontlines of global markets, consider the Interpack as a significant platform to present their outstanding quality and innovative technologies to an international audience.
For the first time, Packaging Valley Germany will fly its flag in Dusseldorf at a shared stand. Eight member companies will present their exhibits under the joint roof of Packaging Valley. As at previous trade shows, a central Packaging Valley Lounge will offer ample opportunity to meet customers, visitors and exhibitors. The “Packaging Valley – Route” guides the way from the joint stand to those of the other 20 member companies participating with own stands.

Premiere of the „Packaging Valley Days“ – 100% target hit
Schwäbisch Hall. The mix of presentations, panel discussions and company tours was informative, practice-oriented and dynamic. Approximately 190 visitors from 16 nations had come to attend the very first international Packaging Valley Days in Schwaebisch Hall from June 9 to 10.

First public appearance of the packaging cluster
“Packaging Valley” will make its appearance with a multiparty stand at Nuremberg FachPack (Hall 3, Booth 3-233)
Schwaebisch Hall/Nuremberg. For the first time, the members of Packaging Valley Germany e.V. will make a joint appearance on a 1 000 m3 shared fair stand at Nuremberg trade fair FachPack. Reflecting the regional concentration of the leading packaging machinery manufacturers “live”, 20 of the 34 members of Packaging Valley will attend the fair, 15 of them at the shared stand. FachPack will open its gates in Nuremberg from September 29 to October 1, 2009. It is regarded as the most important trade show for Europe’s packaging machinery builders.

Packaging Valley at the PACK EXPO in Chicago
Schwaebisch Hall. At the PACK EXPO in Chicago, the packaging machine experts from the “Packaging Valley” are well represented. Six companies of the “Packaging Valley Germany e.V.” will be present at one of the world’s most significant trade shows of the packaging sector. The fair will be held from November 9 to 13 in Chicago, USA.
