Packaging Valley at Interpack: A successful start to the Anniversary Year

Ten years of Packaging Valley and for the fourth time, presentation at Interpack, with growing membership amongst all those exhibiting. The facts speak for the success of this association of packaging machine manufacturers and the value of this trade fair for Packaging Valley.

Schwäbisch Hall, 11.05.2017. Yesterday was the last day of Interpack. This marks the end of a special week in the packaging industry. Time for a summary:

All visitors to Interpack were fascinated and impressed by the diversity of exhibitors. The red “Packaging Valley” banner was immediately visible to all who entered the hall. As in past fairs, Packaging Valley was represented at its’ own booth in the Packaging Valley Lounge, this time amidst seven member companies. The lounge was a refuge to simply to take a break or as a venue for networking. In total 18 member companies were represented at Interpack, some adjacent to the lounge and some in adjoining halls.

The celebration on Day One of the 10th anniversary of Packaging Valley was given a positive reception by all parties. Customers and employees met up in the Packaging Valley Lounge, where they could listen and dance to the live band and enjoy intensive discussions.

There was also very positive feedback from the member companies who took part, and in particular, in the interest on the part of visitors and the quality of the related discussions.

After all, Packaging Valley’s members have much to offer: Innovative machines with genuine added value, eye-catching displays and demonstrations served as visitor magnets. Cooperative projects amongst the member companies in order to present the ideas of the future, for example, “Virtual Commissioning” as a visibly demonstrated process, were particular highlights.

Sabine Gauger, Vice Chairman of Packaging Valley and Marketing Director of Optima, gave particular praise to the solidarity of the association: “We are very proud that so many member companies exhibited under the banner of “Packaging Valley”. This shows that over the last ten years, the original concept of Packaging Valley has become a successful association.”
