Packaging Valley Germany – industry specialists come together at the Nuremberg Trade Fair

The combined booth at FachPack again makes its mark on over 1,100 m² of exhibition area

From 27th to 29th September 2016 Nuremberg is once again the gathering point for inspiration and real solutions in packaging, technical systems, final processing and logistics.

FachPack is traditionally the “home turf” for the packaging machine manufacturers from the region around Schwäbisch Hall and Crailsheim. This is highlighted once again by the combined booth of Packaging Valley. Eleven companies are represented in the Packaging Valley Lounge covering an area of more than 1,100 ²m in Hall 2. Packaging companies from Hohenlohe-Franconia exhibit the latest technologies in specialized machine engineering. The focus here is on the themes of Industry 4.0 and Virtual Reality in packaging machine Engineering.

The Packaging Valley flag also flies at the trade fair forum “Pack Box”. Visiting experts are informed on various innovative themes currently being advanced. Dr. Bernhard Kausler from the Packaging Valley member company ITQ (Garching and Schwäbisch Hall) presents the central issue of this year’s Packaging-Valley-Days: “The “Talking” Packaging Machine 4.1”, which deals with the cooperation and agreements between customers and machine engineers and the challenges and chances which subsequently arise.

Current products and offerings at the Packaging Valley Stand are presented by the member companies:

Optima packaging group GmbH, Schwäbisch Hall, Stako GmbH, Wolpertshausen, R. Weiss Verpackungstechnik GmbH & Co. KG, Crailsheim, Heitec AG. Crailsheim, OCS Checkweighers GmbH, Schwäbisch Hall, Ishida GmbH, Schwäbisch Hall, SVZ Maschinebau GmbH, Satteldorf, so-matec epple GmbH, Crailsheim, Hohenloher Verpackungssysteme GmbH, Wolpertshausen, Ho-Ma, Ilshofen and Popp Maschinenbau GmbH, Crailsheim.

A key focus amongst all the exhibitors is the theme 4.0 in packaging machine engineering, with particular focus on increasing global networking and digitalization. This applies both to development and also to the assurance of optimum service and maintenance work.

With its own Virtual Reality Center, Packaging Valley counts as a driving force in the fields of Virtual Reality and Virtual Engineering. These issues will certainly also be of great interest at the trade fair.

Generally, visitors from Germany and other European countries are expected to visit FachPack.
