Innovative heating technologies for industry

watttron develops and manufactures high-precision digital heating technologies for industry. With our innovative approach to digital heating, we enable pixel-precise temperature profiles that allow targeted, efficient heating. This saves energy, reduces material usage, and increases the quality of industrial processes. Our solutions are primarily used in the packaging industry, where they enable the processing of monomaterials and thus recyclable packaging. We are also opening up new fields of application, for example in the semiconductor industry.

As a technology partner, we work closely with machine manufacturers and leading brands to implement sustainable and economical solutions. With several patents, an interdisciplinary team, and our own production facility in Germany

Good to know: watttron comes from Saxony - a region that has become famous not only for its art and culture, but also for its many inventors and inventions. The company is a spin-off of the Institute for Natural Materials Technology at Dresden University of Technology and the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging IVV. This is where the foundation for its innovative technology was laid. Its pioneering character was recognized early on by experts and has been honored with several awards to date, including the German Raw Materials Efficiency Award and the German Packaging Award.
