# Kurze Wege im Packaging Valley
Innerhalb der letzten 100 Jahre haben sich rings um die süddeutschen Städte Crailsheim und Schwäbisch Hall eine ganze Reihe erfolgreicher Verpackungsmaschinenbauer angesiedelt. Einige davon haben es zum Weltmarktführer gebracht, andere sind auf dem besten Weg dorthin. Rund 7.000 Menschen arbeiten im Packaging Valley innerhalb der Branche des Verpackungsmaschinenbaus. Der Exportanteil der Verpackungsmaschinenbauer liegt über 80%.

Eines der wichtigsten Anliegen des 2007 gegründeten Vereins Packaging Valley Germany ist es, auf diese weltweit einzigartige Konzentration und Kompetenz aufmerksam zu machen: Potenzielle und bestehende Kunden können sich über führende Verpackungslösungen informieren, was auch weite Reisen sehr informativ und effizient werden lässt.

In the past 100 years, a relevant number of successful packaging machine builders have established themselves in the southern German region around the towns of Crailsheim and Schwaebisch Hall. Some companies have already achieved world market leadership; others are well on their way. Packaging Valley provides approx. 7,000 jobs in the packaging machine building sector with an export share for its products of more than 80%.
